Better! But buted
Well... she made me feel so bad yesterday with how sore she looked... and then this morning she was so slow coming in for breakfast, I gave her a gram of bute with her food.
I lunged her about 5 or 6 hours later, so.. not sure how much effect it had at that point, but hopefully. She definitely looked better and she was much more willing to trot compared to yesterday. But she's still not right. She's still dragging all her toes, not tracking up at all, and I noticed her right hind is stepping medially no matter which direction she is going, but worse with it on the outside. She did a lot of releasing, but... not sure that means anything. Her second trip around was better than the first and I pushed her to reach and stretch a little. But she's definitely worse tracking right and was reluctant to stretch and stride out that way.
We also did our pillar work to warm up and she's getting good at it. But man I miss riding this sweet girl. She really does have a big ol' heart and tries so hard.
