Bravest Chicken ever
Okay, I take it back. Lyric is not Chicken Little. She's the big brave toaster! ;)
hauled to ashland. self loaded. nervous at the trailer but let me pee. did a little solo hack around the woods behind stadium before our lesson. howling winds. brave girl.
lesson with jacel. worked on balance. help her find it but it may take a minute. let her process. trust the process. open inside rein, turn thumb out and over so fingernails facing up, do not pull her head to the inside, keep outside rein connected softly, open outside leg (especially right) and use inside leg. if she's falling, do a smaller circle til she rebalances. doing all the previous mentioned things. it works!! then 3 loop serpentine. Not to do the serpentine but to practice balance changes and if she falls, smaller circle til she rebalances.
open my hips. pull my entire leg off the horse and hold it for a second. open my thighs and knees. i'm clamping. it's okay to have my toe out a little in dressage, yes even dressage.
stretches at home. russian squat, leg swings, and in front of me leg swings
then went on a solo hack again. was going to be short but had too much fun. even trotted some. better connection and back on the trails. ha ha. especially at the walk but even a little at the trot. need more of this. super brave. Jumped the fake creek but was brave. walked the bridges. walked into water complex, though fussy at first. walked up the bank. trotted in field. didn't go towards lake. but walked dam and then did some hills.
self loaded to go home. brave girl
rode in county dressage again with wow girth
