Winter Music

 Poor girl. put her in roundpen with dan... dan jumped out and left her in. She was stuck. doh! Foot sore since she lost a shoe but followed dan and i into arena so let her wander. She was chewing on my poles and cavalettis. beaver! Stop that! Then did some pillar work with her while dan was loose and free. Very good girl but foot sore. then got her shoe back on 

 dumb me... shockwaved tues... vet recheck fri stifle effusion on left side. flexed sound... but now slightly off on right hind. But is it shockwave covering it up? US showed still a hole.. not much change.  Recommended injecting with HA and giving her another month then rechecking. Would have only been about 2 weeks, but... better safe than sorry. Goober... ran into pitchfork head the other day. today went to back out of washrack instead of turning around and wouldn't stop and backed into cat food bowls and buckets and sent things scattering. but good for her injections. keeping dan compnay

  Good morning beautiful! We have an ultrasound recheck on Friday! Fingers crossed we are healed! (Or at least healing... more realistically...). 

 quick pillar session 3rd shockwave

 Pillar work. getting better quick short lunge.. mostly walking... stretching nicely and tracking up trotted a few circles.. slow trot. looks sound but still dragging a little

 I desperately needed a little break from studying and some movement so I took Lyric for a quick pillar walk. We tried to do it in the roundpen but the clover was too tempting. So we headed to the culdesac. Mike came home pretty quickly after we started so we only did the 10 minutes, but... she's getting better at it.  Good girl!
